It takes just a few minutes, but it can tell you a lot about what you should be doing in your online marketing.

Hey everyone, here’s a quick SEO tip you can implement in your business right now. Aside from SEO, it’s a great way to get ideas for new content on your website.

To start, let’s go to Google and search one of two options, either “[Company Name]” or “[Business Services/Offerings]”. Let’s say you search Luxury iPhone Cases. Now, ignore all the information on the page. You want to get to the bottom where it says, “searches related to luxury iphone cases“.

We can see more specifics here; people want designer iPhone cases, leather iPhone cases, luxury iPhone cases for men. What these things do is they create long-tail keywords – more specific keywords for very  specific topics. So, next time you’re looking to create a new page or new content on your website, maybe you’d want to talk about the leather cases in your repertoire. Maybe you want to talk about the cases you have for men specifically. Instead of Coach, eBay, Gadget Review, and so on, you can be one of the top few listings on the Search Engine Results Page.

It doesn’t seem that many promote these types of products, so if you can use this to help your business get up there, you’re good!

Next time you’re looking to create content of some sort, you can create a new blog post on one of these topics. Now, when people search for a specific term, you can be one of the higher ranking results on the SERP page. Of course, you get more ideas from something like this aside from the SEO benefits.

Now this can be applied to any business. Maybe you’re an accountant and you want to help people when they’re choosing an accounting firm. So we search for that (choosing an accounting firm), we go back down to the results, and now we have some ideas. Maybe it’s “choosing an accounting firm to work for”. If you’re going through a hiring stage, this might be something helpful to others to find you through.

“How to choose a CPA firm” or “factors choosing a CPA firm” are other ideas you can work off of for new content. These are things people are interested in. You know that it’s relevant content you are putting out there. It’s something people want and it will attract new people to your website.
